Affirmations


Affirmations can be defined as the practice of positive thinking and self-empowerment. They are proven to improve your perspective, increase positivity, and grant more success within your life.

Why are Affirmations so important?

They are so important due to the love and alignment they bring. The root word "affirm" means

  1. state as a fact; assert strongly and publicly.
  2. offer (someone) emotional support or encouragement.

Both of these definitions are what make up an affirmation. A strong powerful statement that provides emotional support or encouragement

Repeating affirmations often, help you redirect your thoughts to your goals and purpose in life. They will ensure that you are open, concentrated, and amendable to properly achieve your goals in a timely manner.

How can you begin creating your own Affirmations?

You can begin creating your own affirmations by determining what needs improvement/encouragement within your life. Is it your self-esteem, work ethic, insecurities, relationships, faith?

Create your daily affirmations around areas that need more attention. By doing so, you will start to feel more in charge of your own life.

You can:

  • Write down your affirmations
  • Memorize them
  • Make them up as you go

I recommend creating a list of affirmations and keeping them with you at all times.
